Bank File Kit for Excel
Your check register or payment list already lives in a spreadsheet. This add-in turns the open worksheet into a positive pay file or an ACH (NACHA) file, right inside Excel, validated before you download.
Your data never leaves Excel. The add-in runs in a task pane and processes the worksheet locally, exactly like our web tools. Nothing is uploaded to us. It formats files only; it moves no money.

Install
The add-in is awaiting listing on Microsoft AppSource. Until it appears there, you can load it yourself in about a minute. It is the same add-in either way.
- Download the manifest file: manifest.xml.
- Excel on the web: open your workbook, then Home ribbon, Add-ins, More add-ins, My Add-ins tab, Upload My Add-in, choose the file.
- Excel on Windows or Mac: sideloading is clumsier there; Microsoft's current steps are in their sideloading guide, or wait for the AppSource listing and install it with two clicks.
- A "Bank File Kit" button appears on the Home tab and opens the pane.
Requires a worksheet with one row per check or payment. The pane reads the sheet only when you click "Read active sheet".
What it does
Positive pay: the same engine as the free web generator: documented bank formats with cited sources, column mapping with automatic guesses, and validation that blocks a download when a value would be silently truncated.
ACH (NACHA): the same engine as the free NACHA generator: PPD and CCD credits and debits, bank rule profiles, prenote test files, and full control-math validation before download.
Why an add-in instead of the website?
No exporting. If the register is already open in Excel, the pane reads it in place, and your column mapping and bank settings are remembered for the next run. The web tools remain free and identical in output; use whichever fits your workflow.
